TODAY, 2 May 2024, on Merseyside, the area is holding both the Merseyside Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Mayoral Elections. Sefton, Halton and Knowsley areas are holding Local Elections. This year there are no local elections in:- Liverpool, Wirral and St Helens.
- Polling Stations will be open from:- 7am to 10pm. You can only vote at your assigned Polling Station and you have to have ID.
- Accepted forms of photo ID for voting at a Polling Station
You need to show 1 form of photographic ID to staff at the polling station on election day' (Thursday, 4 May 2023.)

- A defence identity card.
- Certain national identity cards.

If you are registered to vote, butyou don't have your poll card, you can go to the Polling Station and give them your name and address.
